Summer Nights #1
A series of Summer posts... mixing in some of my favourite recordings and bringing to you a variety of genres.
Drifting from Borodin to Szymanowski, via the great Korngold and Glière Symphonies and other amazing composers who - curiously - still had to make their début at MIMIC: namely Martinu (with a splendid recording by C.P. Flor of his maverick 5th Symphony), Magnard and Hartmann.
